Beard Transplant
Beard transplantation can be applied with Fue or DHI sowing method. In beard transplantation, hair follicles taken from the donor area of the patient are transferred to the beard area. In both Fue and DHI sowing methods, there is no scar after the procedure.
Two different hair transplantation techniques are used for beard transplantation: direct hair follicle transplantation (DHI) and follicular unit extraction (FUE). Both of these techniques involve taking individual grafts (follicle units) from the donor area at the back of the head and transplanting them to the desired area on the face.
In the DHI technique, the surgeon takes the hair follicles one by one and immediately after they are taken, they plant them one by one with a tool called Choi Pen.
In the FUE technique, after removing the hair follicles one by one, the surgeon opens micro incisions in the target area and places the previously collected hair follicles in these incisions.
Both techniques are mild procedures and do not cause pain as they are performed under local anesthesia. Since there are no cuts and stitches in beard transplant techniques, the recovery period is short. If your donor area is suitable, you can achieve the lush, well-groomed beard you've always dreamed of.
